About Us

Anthony has been practicing gynaecology for more than 20 years. He has a passion for minimally invasive gynaecological surgery and was awarded the Ministry of Health Scholarship for Advanced Laparoscopy in Australia in 2003. He is a strong proponent of laparoscopic keyhole surgery for ovarian cyst treatment, even for some very large cysts. To ensure that each ovarian cyst surgery has a sound evidence-based indication, Anthony constantly keeps up to date with developments in medical literature on strategies in ovarian cyst management.

Anthony started Single Incision Laparoscopy for ovarian cyst in 2009. He is one of the few in the region to have done more than 400 Single Incision Laparoscopy cases. This advanced method of minimally invasive surgery is done with Just One Cut of 3cm at the belly button. With that, recovery is fast with hardly a noticeable scar.

As the Medical Director of ASC Clinic for Women, Anthony’s approach to the treatment of ovarian cyst is to operate only on the ovarian cyst that justifies removal, and to carry out the operation with laparoscopy as far as possible.
